We’re excited to welcome Kait to the coaching team here at Superior Athletic Advantage. She brings a mix of intensity, kindness, and a deep sense of why she coaches—and it shows in every session she leads.

Fitness with a Purpose

Kait’s story into coaching started from a place that had nothing to do with barbells or gym floors. When her son was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, she set out to learn everything she could about fitness—so she could be ready to help him live a safe, active life. That pursuit eventually became part of her own strength journey too.

“I just wanted to be there for him,” she says. “The more I learned, the more I realized I loved helping others feel strong in their own bodies too.”

Coaching Style: Simple, Smart, and Supportive

Before joining our team, Kait spent years in the kickboxing world—so she’s no stranger to intensity. While we don’t offer kickboxing classes at SAA, she brings that same grit, energy, and whole-body training mindset to every session.

Her favorite movement to teach? The hip hinge. It might not be flashy, but it’s essential—whether you’re deadlifting, swinging a kettlebell, or just picking something up without wrecking your back.

She’s also a fan of training smart. No ego, no pressure—just building consistency, adapting for your body, and celebrating progress (big or small) along the way.

Client Feedback That Says It All

One of Kait’s personal training clients shared this after working with her for just a couple months:

“I’ve been working with Kait for about two months and have had great results. She’s helped me stay consistent with nutrition and strength training, and she’s great at adjusting workouts to fit my needs—especially with my carpal tunnel. I’ve never felt out of place here, even though I started pretty out of shape. Kait and the rest of the team make this a place where I actually want to show up.”

In six weeks, that same client saw measurable progress—9 lbs down, 2.9% drop in body fat, and 0.5 lbs of muscle gained. Results built on trust, hard work, and a coach who listens.

The Human Behind the Clipboard

Quick snapshot of who you’re working with:

  • Favorite thing to teach: The hinge—because proper movement matters

  • Go-to workout fuel: Protein pancakes, eggs, and coffee (always coffee)

  • Dream lift: Trap bar deadlifts forever

  • Gym hype song: “Warrior” by Atreyu

  • Fun fact: She once won “most enthusiastic head banger” at a metal show. Her neck still hasn’t recovered.

And yes—she’s also reading her way through 50 books this year, because strength comes in more than one form.

Kait’s Advice to Anyone Starting Out

“Don’t worry about looking like a beginner. Every single person started there. You belong here just as much as anyone else.”

It’s the kind of mindset we love—and one that makes her such a great fit for the SAA community.
